Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard
St. Martha is again running the Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard Program. With the economic conditions our region is currently facing the need for such a program has greatly increased since our last school year and many families within our school are facing financial difficulty. The intention of this program is to have a location in the front foyer of our school where we would ask that you donate perishable and non-perishable items on the list provided below. Please know that we will accept items that are not on the list.
During the months of special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter we will put together new updated lists to create special hampers for our St. Martha’s families. This program will only be available to our St. Martha’s families and is 100% confidential.
Below you will find the list of items that we require on a weekly basis and for October’s special hamper, Thanksgiving, but again we will accept all donated items.
Canned goods (fruit/veg, etc.)
Meat (Chicken, beef, pork)
Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, razors, feminine hygiene products, etc.)
Gift Cards (preferably Extra Foods)
Reusable shopping bags
We will be starting this program on Monday, October 3rd.
